FORMA
Design designed the complete renovation of a penthouse duplex
apartment in a 1960's International style building, with views
of the monuments in Washington, DC. The scope of work included
a connection to an adjacent apartment on the floor below which
the owners had purchased. The clients, who were moving from a
large farmhouse, requested that everything in the apartment be
designed to have multiple functions to maximize the efficiency
of all available space. In addition to the interior architecture
and furniture selections, FORMA designed custom furniture and
created original artwork for the space.
The
project was featured in the Washington Post on May 18, 2000.
