FORMA was commissioned by the client to totally renovate a small flat on the 10th floor of a high rise tower close to McLean, VA. The one bedroom, one bath 900sf space was reconfigured according to a "white core in a grey box" parti, with the kitchen occupying the central core, all wrapped in a white textured envelope, while the rest of the apartment perimeter walls and ceilings are painted a charcoal grey. State of the art AV equipment, mid century modern furniture and simple accompanying pieces help make this space sublime.

This project was the cover of the Washington Post Real Estate Section on 22 April 2011 in the article "Tysons Corner area condo owner reboots his living space"

This project was featured in Home and Remodeling Trends Magazine Vol. 27 Number 9 "New Chapter"and a video walk-through web feature "Link"

The home was awarded the 2012 Bronze Award for Residential Design from The International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
